Everything is already included in the complex's name - The Norwegian Valley. But let's start from the beginning. It was very long ago... One man came up with a beautiful idea - o build 7 houses. He, a writer and an artist, has created a settlement. No wonder he thought of such an original idea. Being a member of such an inclusive group as the "artists" says enough by itself ;) The initiator and founder of the village, Gerhart Hauptmann, was so amazed by the beauty of the place that he decided to create a dreamland that others like him could use for relaxation and rest. And it did happen indeed. After raising the 7 buildings, the elites from Berlin started to come in dozens - doctors, lawyers and all kinds of artists.
Today, in the same place, two brothers worthy of continuing the Hauptmann's tradition prove that the place's profile, as well as the place itself, hasn't changed much.
The Norwegian Valley now consists of 9 buildings in Norwegian style.
Every structure is unique and special, just like the characters that used to arrive here again and again in times of Hauptmann.
