Norwegian Valley Mountain Panorama

The Norwegian Valley attracts skiers and snowboarders with well-organized ski resorts in the area. Whether we head to the slopes on the Polish or Czech side of the border, we can expect well-groomed trails and fast ski lifts.

1. The nearest resort is just 3 minutes away from our resort: Szklarska Poręba “Dolina Szczęścia” – 1000m from the resort.

The resort has three ski slopes that are regularly snowed and groomed, and the lighting of the slopes allows you to fully enjoy them during the short winter days.

The resort has three lifts:

140 meters for beginners
220 meters for intermediate skiers
235 meters for intermediate skiers

2. Szklarska Poręba “SZRENICA SKI ARENA” – 5900m from the resort.

The largest ski station in the Polish Karkonosze Mountains! The resort has over 12 km of slopes with a snowmaking system. The lift capacity is up to 10,000 people per hour! To reach the top of Szrenica (1362 meters above sea level), you need to take the chairlift, which is divided into two sections with a total length of 2758 meters. Skiers have 4 slopes available: one blue, two red, and one black, with a total length of 10 km.

3. Sportovní areál Harrachov - 18km from the resort.

This resort offers seven ski slopes. The RED II slope, 1850 meters long, is one of the most popular runs in Harrachov. It is gentle in the upper part, then transitions to a steeper profile, and the end is again gentler. The lower gentle part is especially recommended for children and beginners, and it is worth noting that this part is adapted for night skiing.

4. Ski & Sun Świeradów Zdrój - 22km from the resort.

The Świeradów Zdrój cable car can carry around 2400 skiers per hour in comfortable 8-person cabins to the top of Izerski Stóg (1107 meters). The 2.5 km long slope (average gradient of 19%) is mostly easy, but the end is slightly steeper. The high lift capacity ensures there are almost no queues at the bottom station. The slope is artificially snowed and illuminated. It is considered one of the three longest and best-lit ski slopes in Poland.
